Military Aviation Journal is an online magazine dedicated to all aspects
of military flight. This includes current military aircraft, warbirds,
aviation related historical events, and most importantly the men and women
who fly and/or have flown these aircraft. Military Aviation Journal is a
non-profit website. Our mission is to tell as many aviation stories as
possible, educating the public on what sacrifices the members of our armed
forces make (or have made) in defending this great country.

Military Aviation Journal is led by Phil Myers, a military aviation
photojournalist with a passion for telling stories and documenting the history
of military aviation. In addition to his website publications, Phil’s
articles and photographs have been published in several magazines.

When Phil isn’t reporting on military aviation, or the phenomenal people
that are involved with such aircraft, he is at work as a Police Sergeant.
He has been a police officer in California since 1985. Phil has worked a wide variety of assignments in his 27 years as a police officer and also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
